“Free course” and “free certificate” are not the same thing.
Before committing hours to a course, always check whether the actual certificate, badge or proof of completion is free too.

Don't Become a Certificate Collector
Twenty certificates do not automatically make somebody employable.
A certificate is evidence that you completed something. The important question is what you can now do.

For every serious certificate you earn, produce at least one piece of evidence that you can apply the skill.
- Web development: build a website.
- Programming: publish a working project on GitHub.
- Digital marketing: run a small campaign and document the results.
- Excel or data analytics: analyse a real dataset.
- Entrepreneurship: develop and test a real business idea.
- Cybersecurity: build a legal home lab and document what you learned.
Learn → Apply → Build → Prove.
That is a much stronger story than simply writing “completed online course” ten times on your CV.
